Even though I’ve claimed for years that I thrive on Multitasking, when I try to concentrate on more than one venture at a time, my creativity diminishes and the project takes longer. Bummer.

That explains why my brain flips and flops as I attempt to write a new manuscript and post blogs simultaneously. Guess I’m not Wonder Woman after all. I can’t juggle either.

To work on a new manuscript, I need to immerse myself in an exciting fictional world. Since I love writing what’s the problem? Focus. Each time I change gears and do a pirouette to create and post a blog I lose touch with my new characters. We’re still getting acquainted and my plot is unfurling in ways I hadn’t expected. A fun adventure!

I considered temporarily closing down my blog, but I enjoy it too much. I adore interacting with you and I’m thoroughly entertained with your comments. I certainly haven’t run out of Amish prizes and books to sign. Another thought was to go off Facebook. Yikes, can’t do that!

My solution? I hope to post a Blog Giveaway once a month (instead of twice), unless unable for some unforeseeable reason. I appreciate your patience as I muse upon and write my new manuscript.
