This is the actual quilt you could win! |
I love quilts! I remember first being drawn to a magnificent hand-stitched Amish quilt on display in the Quilt Museum in The Old Country Store in Intercourse, PA, a couple years ago. I was filled with longing for the quilt, but it wasn’t for sale, and then I couldn’t find a comparable quilt to purchase.

Emma’s non-electric sewing machine |
While visiting Amish friends soon after, I told them my dilemma and they suggested contacting their niece, Emma Stoltzfus. You can imagine my amazement when I discovered their Emma was the noted quilter who’d crafted the fabulous quilt I’d previously admired. You can also imagine my elation when recently Emma Stoltzfus donated one of her beautiful hand stitched 42” x 42″ wall hangings for this giveaway! I must send a thank-you note to Emma of E. S. Quilts in Lancaster County, PA!

I tried to make a quilt once. I was supposed to be A Trip Around the World quilt. I was taking a crash course but somehow the quilt did not quite make it around the world. The instructor didn’t know what happen to my quilt with the way it turned out. She was showing me how to put it together and sew it but somehow it got messed up. Never did finish it. Would love to win this beautiful wall quilt.
