If the weather outside is frightful or delightful, I hope you’re enjoying your day. We’ve had a bit of everything over the last month except snow. But sometimes our cold weather doesn’t barge in until February. And yet I noticed these early cherry blossoms yesterday, in January. Poor little guys if we have a blast from the north.
This photo of majestic Mount Baker, where I’ve skied many times, was taken from my mother-in-law’s home. Photo of the hummingbird was taken from our kitchen. I know, I should be content where I’m planted.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I appreciate each one of you!
Congratulations to Dali Castillo, winner of the Amish-made Tea Towel from Lancaster County, plus a signed copy of one novel from the Legacy of Lancaster Trilogy! Her pick of Leaving Lancaster, Pennsylvania Patchwork, or Forever Amish. Thank you to everyone who entered!
That is a beautiful tea towel. Love all of your books.
Thank you, Rachel! I appreciate your kind words of encouragement!
As I have said before, your blogs are just beautiful Kate! Love to read them.
You are a sweetheart and an encourager, Sonja. Thank you!
love the pictures, especially the cherry blossoms…love the yellow cherries that we can’t get in Texas. here we are staying at a steady 40 degrees last few days which is unusual for us. and raining which doesn’t help. I quit making resolutions years ago, it was always about weight and it didn’t change a thing. but I really have to do something about that!!!!! love the new newsletter. thanks
Thanks for writing, Virginia! These are flowering cherries, so no fruit, but beautiful. I’m delighted you like my newsletter. Thank you so much!
What a beautiful view you have!
Thanks for writing, Debbie! I strive for contentment. My mom often said, “Two men looked from prison bars. One saw mud, the other saw stars.”
love your views on being honest its a struggle for all !
Thanks, Jean! Being honest isn’t an easy endeavor, but honesty is essential!

Judy
I’d be honored if you read The Legacy of Lancaster Trilogy, Judy! The third, Forever Amish, can be read as a stand-alone and the paperback has been reduced on Amazon recently.
