I am pondering which season is my favorite and coming up with fall. When winter arrives, I’ll be thinking about Christmas and then springtime followed by summer. I guess all of the seasons are my favorites! But like many I particularly love fall: the changing colors, crisp weather, the aroma of harvest.

Fall is the best time for walking with Piper!

Pumpkins come to mind when thinking about autumn. While chatting with good friend Mary Jackson, a fabulous cook, we talked about the benefits of eating pumpkin, a fact she has mentioned often over the years.

Both for myself and Piper! She kindly sent me this Pumpkin Bread recipe and photo!

Book Recommendation

When browsing through my personal library I was surprised by how few books take place in autumn, so once more I consulted my expert Mary Jackson, AKA the Mary Reader. She recommended bestselling The Pumpkin Patch Sisters(Fall At Harvest Hollow) by Amy Rafferty.

Best wishes,
