“Sure, sounds fun,” I said, when my agent and an editor hinted I write my first Amish fiction novel. I love writing and enjoy a challenge! Why not plunk a story in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country? The plot to Leaving Lancaster seemed to unravel itself like a ball of yarn. My theme, characters, and love-interests sprang to life. I sold my proposal to David C. Cook!
