Roll the drums! I wish I had a drummer with a snare drum to start off the festivities. Or a birthday cake with one candle. I’m in a celebratory mood as my new book Stage Fright releases. Today, Tuesday, is its official release date. Anyone who preordered the e-book should find it in their Kindle or e-reader. And anyone who wishes to purchase a paperback will be rewarded soon.
When I think of all the things I’ve celebrated in my life, such as graduations and birthdays, nothing seems to top the release, or launch, of a new book! Writing a novel is a long and arduous journey for me because I’m picky, and then editing the manuscript, again and again, working with the book cover (I love this cover, don’t you?) and then the promotion. No matter what publishing house I’ve worked with, I have been heavily involved with promoting my book. Let’s hear it for social media and my Review Crew! I wish all of you could be here to taste my virtual cake!
As a girl living with my parents, my mother always had tea and cinnamon toast waiting for us at the end of our school day. Tea was an important part of our lives, so it seemed appropriate to give away a Royal Albert “Old Country Roses” three-piece tea set: teapot, creamer, and sugar bowl as my prize today. Plus, a signed copy of Stage Fright!
